            Sorry to hear about this RRED. My grandpa died just 3 days before my b-day when I was a kid and now I look at it as a perfect time to remember how much I loved him. Kids are tough.

                    He's in a better place now! It's hard to tell kids things like this. I lost my grandfather 4 years ago, and it was the hardest lost I ever had. I'm still not over it!

                                        now is further away from Christmas than if you waited
                                        a week... if you put up a manger scene for Christmas
                                        maybe a little picture of grandpa near the angel in the
                                        manger display...
