the only issue that raises my curiosity is her age & number of degrees held...

2 years minimum for a post-grad
6mos to 1 year for post grad whatever/training
so she's been in school for maybe what? 7 years if she's done a fast paced school schedule and worked at it fulltime

And since you want to out things on the board, let me say that Aaron and Vanilla apologized for you. They both said how it could have been worded different and not so rudely and condescendingly spoken by you.
The way and tone in which you say something to someone speaks miles beyond what you actually say. If you have criticism for someone, there is a tactful way to do it.

Take Epic as an example. There are Top Lists that won't list my sites because the Webmaster thinks P1mpdog is an asshole and I promote Epic. There are TGPs that won't allow Epic galleries for the same reason.
