    The History Of This Biz....

    Anyone know the answers to the following questions or know where i can find them. (iam a very curious person)

    1. Who Actually Invented The Text TGP ?
    2. Who Invented Thumb TGPs (Who was The First)
    3. What was the first AVS System
    4. Why Did TGP Get So Big ?
    5. Who Invented TGP2, What Happened ?

    thats all i really want to know about the history of the biz, if anyone can post links to where i can read up please post them, as iam sure more people are intrested (or should be interested) in this.

                  The tgp was Adultbuffet, Buf Father.


                  Persian Kitty was the number one site on hitbox counter back then with around 200,000 uniques a day, then Adultbuffet started kicking ass and took over as #1 with over 360,000 uniques a day, unheard of at that time, for the most part. I'm guessing that was around 97' or 98'. The company I was with hosted adultbuffets website back then.

                      Demand, both from surfers and webmasters.

                      Surfers:
                      Simply because of the free porn.

                      Webmasters:
                      Easy to grow a tgp and have a steady amount of traffic by doing traffic trading, with almost no or little investment. It would cost a buttload more to get the same amount of traffic by buying.

                              Cj existed before everything and was topping the ranks of sextracker . Then guys from worldsex, ultradonkey, shap and couple other guys were exit popping free sites . Thoses sites got slowly a lot of bookmarkers and turned out to be big . That's how the TGP started . From cycle jerk sites . www.adultwebmasterinfo.com do a search in their archive you will find a lot of usefull shit .

                                  TGP was around long before CJing became big, TGPs now are more or less CJs with x% going to galleries.
