If you want a partner program to help your sites grow, you are basically asking for a 'PARTNER' in your business you respect him for tagging along and bringing you business whether they buy while he's looking or while he turns around - whether he's paying cash or credit card. A partner is a partner - I am using my time and money to bring people to your storefront and you decide that depending how he buys will determine if I get my cut?
I guess I have a very different ethic than most programs. Seems like it's definitely time for me to start my own site. If it fails it's my own fault. No use in putting time and money promoting other people if they'll decide when to pay - razorblades or payment options should not be the deciding factor.

if sponsors really wanted to prove they are not shaving they would supply real time notifications on sales.
It is simple. Send an Email + ICQ immediately on each sale, right when it happens including some info about the sale. That way, the affiliates can test it once in a while with friends, asking them to sign up and seeing if the sale registers.
But why would they when they can continue what they do today (basically nothing) and keep on shaving your sorry asses

You know whats really funny, is most of you are already being shaved by lots of medium / big sponsors and you don't know it.
Look at Pibcash's profits after they have shaved 30%, they make a loss. Rebills after the 30% shave will make them money but you take that 30% shave away and then count in the 10-13% processing fees they have to pay and you can see that they would make MASSIVE LOSSES. This is of course why they shave and you'd be an IDIOT to think that most per signup programs don't do exactly the same. Except they haven't had there admin program hacked & exposed in public.
Pay $35 per trial that converts at 30% to full + crosssell + exit consoles and all the rest is still VERY VERY hard to pull off without shaving.
And you wonder why recurring programs seem to magicily convert twice as good as per signup programs

Im jim dandy happy with $25 PPS..... or even $20 PPS.... they convert WAY beter becasue you know the people running them arent crazy hype masters.
I'm doing under 1:27 with most of my $25 PPS or less affiliate programs.
Next time you see "Up to $45 per free trial" Thats a clue that you aint gonna have as much hair on your nuts as when you went in.
