    Fucking technology

    My video camera started eating tapes a few days ago, so now I have no fucking video camera for the rest of the time I am in Europe. I filled out some form at the Canon website, thinking maybe they have a quick fix or can refer me to someone over here to fix it, but no, the fucking thing has to be mailed back to Canon to get fixed. Then I updated the software for my digital camera, and I'll be damned if that didn't fuck something up too. So now I have no working video camera and can't upload any pictures until I get back home.

    Other than that things are good.

      where are you in europe?.. how long will you be here?.. why not to contact some local european customer support?

              I am here for another 10 days, but I am going to Amsterdam tomorrow for a couple days and then Italy for a few days, so I dunno if anyone can fix it that soon.

                          Will do, I just called the contact number in Sweden and the girl told me of a couple places in Uppsala where I am to take it to have it sent in, and I asked her if there was someplace I could take it for them to look at it on the spot and she gave me a number to a place in Stockholm, so hopefully I can make it out there today to see if they can fix it.
