He thought his $300 a month was a cheap out, maybe he will not think this in 5 years time, when he's flipping burgers or still paying out.
The licensees agreed to the validity of the patents, unless it's completely over turned they have to keep paying. This ruling might be that is doesn't apply to the defendents and that will stuff those who sold out.
