And what defines a 'good' template apart from just opinion

There is no sale on that template. Nothing to tell the surfer to click or even why he would be clicking in the first place. Gotta give 'em a reason to go further and risk entering pop-up hell.

There's hardly any text.. no catch.. no hook. Galleries aren't just a pretty frame for pictures, they are a marketing tool... an advertisement for a product.. If you expect customers (surfers) to be willing to pay for a product, you should tell them WHY they should buy it.. It's your job to convince them, and although that template is aesthetically pleasing, it does not say "BUY ME".

I can't explain that... thats just what is on my screen when I login. If you think some photochopping has been done ask Janelle or Taylor to login and confirm. Not that I care if you dont believe anyways.

Topbucks also have a 'BLANK/Miscellaneous' field which registers the clicks that coudn't get a propper referal site. There is a chance there are more in there.

Anyways my point isnt that I got a 1:1 because all up its 1:176 my point is that so many people were quick to 'diss' my gallery. Sure I'm a newbie etc but I'm just showing you... I got 2 signups out of it

I never ask people for their opinion unless i'm willing to take the bad things they have to say for what they are, and I sure as hell never challenge what they have to say, it's their opinion. When you defend your question, it shows you werent really looking for advice at all just praise... that never works.

Good Point. I did ask for opinions.. the thing that shitted me about it was that.. certain people thought I wasnt asking for an opinion.. they thought I was trying to sell the gallery...

Ive been submitting galleries for what 3 years now?

You have 3 recips on that gallery, i have been calculating click throughs and looking at stats for a few years now, and NEVER have I seen a gallery that was submitted to 3 different TGPS only show ONE CLICK.

Think about what I just said, 3 tgps, and only ONE CLICK.
