It doesn't remind me of an acid trip. It reminds me of playing around with WordArt. You don't really need the .com in a company's logo. You should choose strong, simple colours in a memorable and eyecatching pattern. Someone should be able to draw your logo themselves from memory, much like you can sketch the McD's "M" or the Nike swoosh.
