I don't think the Big 12 sucks, but I still think the SEC is the toughest conference to win by far! OU had to beat a 16th ranked team for the championship. LSU had to beat the 7th ranked team. Tells me that we are an extremely young team who needed a national ass kicking. That was by far the WORST i've ever seen OU's defense play since Blake was there. Don't think for a moment that is the OU that Stoops has built. K-State is the best team in the big 12 right now, they deserve that but don't sleep on OU. depending on which OU team shows up to play LSU(if they are #1 or #2) then hell yea we can beat LSU. we've been in the position of the underdogs before(FSU vs. OU national championship game). Thats not a problem, deciding to play the game is. We got knocked right in the mouth tonight and beat like a bully should. I honestly thought K-State would have run the score up considering some other factors. I think everyone talking smack should realize that any of these teams COULD win. Personally, I think LSU has the best overall team. Great running game, awesome receivers, and the best damn defense out there.

Reality check -- all we learned yesterday is that:
1) OU, like every other team in the top 5, can be beaten by a lesser team on any given Saturday. Props to K St. for showing up, which is more than can be said for OK (wounded QB or not);
and
2) The BCS is complete and total crap. Regardless of your personal feelings (which are wrong if you don't think USC should be #1, but I digress), how the FUCK can the #1 team in the nation even *possibly* get shut out of the BCS title game? And yet every account today makes it seem that we're gonna be stuck with LSU/OK on 1/4.
