I enjoyed Vietnam, but I found several other Asian countries a lot more interesting to travel through... My favorite was Cambodia by far because of the people and Angkor Wat. For beaches, Vietnam sucks compared to Thailand and Malaysia. A great resource to find out lots of travel details is at
