Raikkonen was awesome out off the start. I couldn't believe how fast he was. 3.5 second lead after the first lap, and i think a little over 4 seconds after the second.
Ferrari's 2 stop strategy paid huge dividends. Throughout the entire race, Schumacher had very little traffic to deal with.
Raikkonen got lucky when Trulli crashed. That was a potentially race winning piece of luck, but then Schumacher got some luck when backmarkers didn't get out of Raikkonen's way on the restart.
Schumacher was awesome though. The times he was putting down after Raikkonen pitted were fucking incredible. Even if Raikkonen hadn't been held up, Schumacher would have still jumped right up to 2nd place and eventually 1st with the 2 stop strategy.
But it's awesome to see McLaren competitive again. New car, and Montoya in the seat next year. Now that will be interesting.26 + 6 = 1Comment
