the movie was made for jason and freddy fans only, because in "jason goes to hell" freddy rips jasons mask at the end.
So the fans expected a freddy vs. jason movie. and thats whats they did... 7-8 years later...which was a mistake because everybody forgot about them!!Comment

IMO it was both one of the best 'Freddy' and one of the best 'Jason' movies ever. If you don't like Freddy/Jason movies, then why rent it? It's not supposed to be scary. It's supposed to be a bunch of dumb kids geting slaughtered in funny/creative ways by cool villains. Fuck all this (predictable) late-90s "I wonder who the killer is?" shit. Some people just can't appreciate a good 80's-style gore fest. Personally I missed these kind of movies. Glad to see it made lots of $$$.Comment

I eat up all these cheesy horror/slasher movies. I watched "Wrong Turn" last night on satellite and I thought it was pretty funny too. Nothing beats inbred, cannibalistic mountain men.
