What's the best Christmas gift you're giving this year

no names necessary so as not to give it away in case they're reading the board..... but what would you consider the best gift you're giving this holiday season.....

I'm sending two air tickets, all inclusive, to this beautiful island of Maui for 2 weeks to someone.....

3 years ago I completely outdid myself...... I'll never be able to beat the christmas of.... (i think it was) 2000.... maybe it was 2001..

anyway.... it kicked ass big time. A legendary Christmas that has set the standard for all our christmas's since.

I love going big on Christmas.

I liked going big on x-mas when i didnt have a big family and it was just me to feed..Extravagent gifts are a thing of the past unless i hit the lotto .

I think the best thing i can give right now is to myself and would be in form of a "break" from the family

I always try to hook up my older family members with modern technology since they won't buy it for themselves. This year I am getting my parents a DVD player. I gave them a PC last year and they have finally learned how to use it correctly so it's time for them to have a new toy. I always like watching them trying to figure things out. Now they both admit that they can't live without their computer.

I think this might also be the year I break down and get my grandparents a microwave too. They still reheat things in the oven. In this day & age, there is absolutely no reason to wait 20 minutes for warm meat loaf.

I like pie.

Getting my parents a digital camera. Nothin special cause I wanna get my dad something BIG for his bday (probably will pay for half his car (he wants a used S80))

GF will get a watch and new years paid for.

Sister will get a lot of things since she is young and deserves to get spoiled.

I personally dont want anything for christmas, i have everything i want Some snow would be nice but not too much, and a six pack (abs)

Due to all the underwhelming support I got from my friends and family after I had a crippling accident in august and was pretty much unable to do anything for myself for several weeks.... which I must say showed me who my true friends are... those that supported me during my time of hardship are going to make out like bandits this year. All 2 of them. My wife and kid.

Havent decided what to get my wife yet, but it will be big. So far I got my kid some of the coolest toys I've ever seen. a BIG 1:6 scale R/C Hummer and a 1:6 Scale helicopter, with those big 12 inch GI Joe guys that can ride inside, and a bike, some videogames and a steering wheel for his PS2, and a shitload of hotwheels cars. Everything a 4 year old could want.

Well, since I'm not really rolling in dough, stuff has to be kept small. Good thing I got my shopping done before now. I don't ahve to do a damn thing after Tuesday's surgery, and that's fine with me. Means I can recover faster and get my ass back to work.

Hubby is getting the new Led Zepplin DVD box set. That's it, that's all I can afford. He'll love it, he's a Zep fan.

Got my precious one a Nightmare Before Christmas metal lunchbox with some chocoaltes in it. I'm talking nice chocolates; I could only afford 6 of them.

Got my best friend a Chinese teaset (she collects teasets and wants an Oriental man, so I brought home the best of both worlds from San Fransisco's Chinatown) and a small box of sugar mice. (I'm not kidding, they're little pink and white mice made out of pure sugar. Imported from England. Kinda creepy. She'll love them.)

And the GFY draw I got will get some goodies, too. That's the extent of my Yule list. All done. Even my cats and my dogs got a goody.

Whew.
