The second I decide to visit GFY every day, I turn off my sound. This is accomplished by finding the little dial on my speakers that says "volume" and turning it all the way to the left.

That's right,... this board IS business. As such, paid advertisers PAY to have their ads here. Advertisers usually choose what ads they want up, so your beef is with them, not Lensman. You fuckers will find something to whine about no matter what it is. I can't believe people are going to whine about banner spots. And don't you have to mouse OVER them to get the sound? Why not just stop mousing over them? Too difficult?

Sorry CD, I can't agree with you here. I surf the board while doing things in other windows that require sound. When I go over those fucking banners, especially by accident (which is the only time I do it now), it's a pain in the ass and is extremely counterproductive. Am I supposed to sit there and turn the speakers up and down as I switch windows? I don't think so. I will be blocking all flash in future. Sorry, sponsors.
