The second I decide to visit GFY every day, I turn off my sound. This is accomplished by finding the little dial on my speakers that says "volume" and turning it all the way to the left.

That's right,... this board IS business. As such, paid advertisers PAY to have their ads here. Advertisers usually choose what ads they want up, so your beef is with them, not Lensman. You fuckers will find something to whine about no matter what it is. I can't believe people are going to whine about banner spots. And don't you have to mouse OVER them to get the sound? How hard it's to understand that I do listen to music while browsing GFY and working. I have GFY open while I do my shit, and press refresh -> read -> post and then continue working. You think I'm gonna mute my music every 15 minutes for a while?
No fucking way.
Why not stop mousing over them? You've noticed the banner there in the middle on top and bottom button? Occasionally my mouse does come over the banner when I use bookmarks for example to come to GFY.. the banner is right there below the bookmarks.
