                                Living with a roommate is the worst.
                                I'm female, and I used to live with another female. Her BOYFRIEND used to bring people over at house almost EVERY night, and they were all a bunch of gangbangers and all they would do is drink every night, and they were so loud that the neigbours would complain to the manager and we almost got evicted.

                                And they would EAT all my food whenever they came, when I woke up the next morning all my eggs and salad/bread would be gone! I would always make them buy me the food back, but it would piss me off to no end. I consider that the same as stealing.

                                And the worst was when she let her boyfriend's friend stay at our place indefinitely. I was stupid to agree, because I didn't know how bad it was.
                                He would watch MY cable tv that I paid for (I got so pissed I told him to not ever watch the cable channes only the reg channels)

                                And later I found drugs in the house! I didn't know what kind they were, but I know it was drugs so I moved the fuck out. The last thing I need is to live in a place that is going to get raided by the DEA or Gang Unit. I am thinking of calling the cops and telling on them, but then my roommate's baby might get taken away. I moved out as soon as I found the drugs. I did't want to call the cops while I still lived there. because they were a bunch of gangbangers and might have done something back to me. I had no idea my roommate's bf was like this when I agreed to live with her. He's 30 years old and all he does is gangbang, makes minimum wage, and barely speaks any English. Fucken Loser

                                                                    No, gangbangers as in loser gabgbangers. And also, after they had too much to drink they would fall asleep in the livingroom. So the next morning when I woke up and went to the kitchen there's drunk faggots sleeping on the living room. I was so pissed I wanted to kick them! I don't eat in a lot either, but I do have some food at home, like bread and stuff for breakfast, and they would always eat my shit when drinking beer. And it happened OVER and OVER again. After I warned them and told them not to, they still ate my food because they claim they did not know which food in the refrig was mine, and which was my roommates. I felt like they were doing it on purpose to spite me.

                                                                    I got so pissed, I LABELED all my food! "Jackie's Food Do Not Eat!" And I told them I'm going to count every single piece of food I have and if one is missing I will know and all hell will break loose. It's not that I'm cheap or anything, I just find it disrespectful. It's already bad enough that they are there everyday , but they gotta eat my stuff too, to add insult to injury.

                                                                    The neighbours would complain because they would leave the door open and cuss all the time like "fuck this" and "fuck that" and he didn't want his kids to hear all that foul language. My roommate's bf seemed to think it was HIS house. She is so dickwhipped she would never tell him no, and she likes it when they come over. And she has a baby now, and she's still hanging with that crowd. Stupid Bitch.

                                                                                                            I've only lived with guys because I couldn't imagine living with a girl...too much estrogen in one home. I would recommend a female roommate but you need to make sure it is one with the same social habits as you (ie if she parties, does she party at home?). Oh, and messiness is also really important. If you're a fucking slob like I am you might have problems with a neat freak...but at the same time you don't want to room with another fucking slob or else your place will be all ghetto. My best roommate was this guy who would be like "ok, cleaning time" and we'd clean together each night because he knew I wouldn't do it on my own but he wasn't such a neat freak that he would get mad when he came home and saw mess. He was awesome!

                                                                                                                                                                        I know it sounds crazy, but I moved out already and I STILL get boiling mad when I think about it. My blood just boils. It got so bad I even labelled all my food and stuff. I have so much anger inside of me, I need to go work out on the stepper or something... those guys have no jobs and would hang out at our place on the weekdays too, not just weekends until the next morning.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

                                                                                                                                                                            I'am serious, I lived in a place with 3 other guys, and they all had maggoty girlfriends that were basically living at our place rent free for the whole school year. Ate my food, watched my satellite, used all my shit, and when I put them in there place, it never lasted long, I get pissed just thinking about it as well.

You have in general more in common, don't have to worry about other sexes coming to your home, don't have to worry about tampons or jock straps.

You can always find girls, but if you have a girl room mate and bring a girl one nighter home she might not like the idea that you have a female roomate.

                                                                                                                                                                                I have had my share of roomates and the worst room mate I ever had was a guy, he was horrible, I couldn't just walk around in my underwear and stuff. So I prefer same sex room mates. But hey you have to live with them not me
