if a company is paying $1 but paying you $25 how can they not shave? with the amount of sites around today, surfer is not going to stay for 6 months like they want you to think.

Check this out: I have worked for big sponsors, many of my friends work for big sponsors...I run my own small affiliate program and my own decent sized paysite. I handle advertising and traffic for another rather large paysite with an active affiliate program.
I know this business pretty inside and out and the bottom line is really this: you get the luxury of making money while sitting at home in your underpants. That's a big reward.
I go to the movies at noon when all the working stiffs are slaving away at a 9 to 5. I drive nice vehicles, I buy nice clothes, I go to a titty bar and get fucked up any night of the week cos I don't have to get up until 11.
Those are all huge rewards.
They have risks associated with them.
Like any business there are risks, to be successful you have to be smart enough to minimize and manage those risks.
Do people shave? Hell yes. A lot of people. You should know your traffic well enough to know if you are being shaved or not. If you cannot figure this out you are not succeeding in our businees. Are they stealing from you? Sort of. But you are letting them if you are sending them your traffic.

Please let me know which programs you run/work for so I can avoid them. Because I get to work at home while sitting in my underpants, I deserve to be ripped off? I guess this works for any business? Freelance writers & newspaper reporters/columnists, soundtrack composers (I did this in a former life - at home, on a computer), contract workers... One of the largest growing employment segments is people who work from home, in their underwear, while sipping coffee and raising their families. i suspect that i've been cheated by a sponsor, merely cause my stats showed multiple signups....then, when the pay period ended, and all of a sudden there were no more signups, and customer service emails me saying "no signups" ....
though, it's merely speculation, i have absolutely NO proof whatsoever...so IF i were to name them, then that would be slander...
