Boy dies after freak golf accident
A five-year-old boy has died after being accidentally hit by a friend with a golf club.
Gavin Innes, of Lewisvale Avenue, Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, was caught on the windpipe by the club when he stood too close as a friend swung it.
They were playing in a park just a few hundred yards from his home when the tragedy happened on Friday afternoon.
He was taken to Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Sick Children, but was declared dead shortly after arrival.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The teen killed when she was accidentally hit by a golf club will be laid to rest Saturday.
Sherita Briggs, 14, was killed when she walked behind a friend swinging the club.
The medical examiner estimated the club hit her head at 80 miles per hour.
The funeral will be held Saturday at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, 3350 Hardesty St.
There is also a memorial fund for her.
