If I shop at wal-mart it's for simple crap.. socks and shit like that.. Actual clothes? No thanx, I'll pass. Stereo equipment? I'll pass.. Besides, they don't sell the stuff I buy when it comes to clothes and stereo/home theatre equipment. After all, I do not want a cheap stereo/home theatre system. My home theatre system may have cost me over $10 000 but it will blow away anything walmart has or will ever have.

Walmart is ok if you're shopping for cheap clothes to use to work in like construction or some shit or buying a hamper, a trash can, underwear but I'll stick to the stores I shop at.. Stores that specialize in certain things and the people who work there know wtf they're talking about. AND when you go to the store they remember your name and everything.. the only way someone at walmart will remember your name is if it's a friend of yours or a family member that works there.. I prefer to shop at stores where they can actually tell me shit that's usefull about the product I wanna buy.

LOL the wal-mart threads are about as predictable and I think in the same rotation as the..."How much money do you make?" threads.

It seems at least once a week there's something to be discussed about wal-mart.

For those who think that the quality of the productsat wal- mart is inferior you can't generalise like that because wal-mart carries so much shit.

I shop almost exclusively at wal-mart for just about anything and everything I need other than electronics...that's what best buy is for ;)

We do most of our grocery shopping there..if my nieces need clothes we definitely take a look through what they offer because it's cheap and the quality is not too bad and my nieces have loved everything we've bought there...of course they have a hand in picking it out.

As far as things like shoes go...hell no I wouldn't buy the shoes there...and that goes for other things as well.

But why pay $19.99 for a new DVD at Target when Wal-Mart has it for $14.99?

Why pay $6.00 for a bottle of benadryl when you can get the wal-mart version *which is identical don't kid yourself if you think it's not* for half the price and in some cases you get more product.

I buy all my bottled water there because I can get 24 20oz bottles for $5.00 vs 24 16 oz bottles of designer water for $6.00.

We don't always buy our products there...I'm a value shopper...I have to be. I'm not the owner of adult.com ;)

We know where to go to get the stuff we need and it's not always wal-mart but damn if most of the time it is

The difference between Walmart and Microsoft is, Microsoft is a giant but Walmart is a monster. Walmart put thousands of grocery, small stores and department stores out of business. Microsoft has very little competition, but not the same product like Walmart's competitors that sell basically the same things.

Everything they sell is 25% cheaper but you suffer with the service because most of their employees are paid minimum wage and you get what you pay for.

I like Walmart and I shop there but only because it's the closest store within 45 minutes of me, because since Walmart all the other smaller stores closed in the area

They need to be reformed. Laws need to be changed, to stop all this outsourcing in other countries. That's what is crippling our economy. Big corporations like AOL with their tech support in India robbing the US population of their jobs.
