I think the mods should work with Smokey or Huh instead of banning him..He seems like a knowledgable cat that would be helpful with finding flaws.Some other prick could walk in and use those exploits to fuck up the board.

and now I will answer your question from last night. You kept asking why his exploit wasn't edited out and I told you some things are the way they are for a reason. That reason is so the right people can see it and deal with it. If I edit it out before they see it, it does no one any good.

I had already e-mailed the admin address the previous day with other handlers and yet more flaws.

That was my original point as i pointed out , this kind of code could be used to cripple gfy or any other board with the same flaws. Due to the rising popularity in board use , it really becomes a problem . Imagine if someone used the same code to crash and disable your windows , meaning re-format and loss of data. Im not looking for a job, and i dont mind being banned as i never promote anything and dont look at post count for a judge in character or knowledge , i just wanted to know why thats all.Comment

I haven't read this thread fully, but I have read the last couple of pages.
The issue is that we allow html on Vbulletin. It's a constant problem because people always figure a new way to post malicious html. We block it each time. You cannot take over or access accounts, we closed that one a long time ago. If you have any new ones, I'd appreciate knowing. [email protected]Comment

And as far as the board script the bots can be stopped if you change the way they increment by number. You need to make a crypt that changes as more replies are added , so that you could maybe post 2 at a time but never more than that without recoding a bot every time.Comment

You will never eliminate idiots as lensman pointed out , but those bots are bad news it makes it harder to find what your looking for.
