first off - not all girls are emotional
the answer really is in brain chemistry - varies from person to person genetically. the bodies basic chemistry is thrown during some periods of time that put pressure on womens brains - such as menstral and birth.

I have no idea but I HATE it!! The whole time I was growing up I thought I am never going to be like women. Always crying to their man wanting attention, being jealous, insecure and hating another girl because they are pretty. AHHHHHH Then I hit 30 and it happen. I noticed I was starting to act that stupid. I did a self-evaluation and stop it immediately. It's that easy. Whenever I feel the pettiness coming on I just say to myself forget about it. Act like a man.
I cannot answer your question but I do know this, I owned a salon from the age of 20 to 25 so I worked with all women. OMG the stupid petty insecure bullshit I would have to deal with was so bad that I sold it. I could not take another day of it.
Now I work with all men. It?s the best. Men let things go. They don?t hold mistakes over your head and use it to build themselves up on. They are way more simplistic than women. I love coming to work everyday. It?s up beat and I laugh all day long as I work. I guess my Mom was right, never work in a room full of women you?ll be sorry!! Just my

I saw a documentary about how the male and female minds relate in terms of brain activity relative to multi-tasking. Interestingly, men are not nearly as adept at doing multiple things at one time. Our brains have a natural tendency to focus from task to task. Women on the other hand are able to (and do...a lot) think about several different things at one point. So part of the reason women are more emotional than men is because you take into consideration soooo many more things than we do and you do it at one time.
Another interesting point was brain activity overall. The female mind never really shuts down, there's always something happening. Conversely, the male mind is excellent at shutting down and running at a low profile. So Ladies - stop getting mad at us if you ask us what were thinking about and we say "nothing".
