Hi there

Long time no talk with you guys. I miss all of you!! I just moved into a new apt and have been painting and was in LA the week before 4th of JULY. I hope everyone had a good time!

OK...Now down to business. I need to buy a camera for my live shows. I want something not too expensive...small...and that will basically get the job done. Again i dont want to spend a lot of money.

If there is anyone that is looking to get rid of a camera, please let me know. I wouldnt mind buying from you guys cause we are all family. Also if you give me crappy camera then you will have a lot of people on you booty!!! haha

I hope everyone is doing well and cant wait to hear from you.

A $275 Hi8 Camcorder from BestBuy or Circuit City
A $80 Videum video card from ebay
A $10 S-Video cable
And you're ready to roll.
Advantage of Videum is that they will allow you to broadcast 1,2,3 or even 4 feeds at once from same camcorder.
Disadvantage is that it does not work well with Flash cam apps

Logitech Quickcam 4000 is only $99 bucks and it works really well .. can help you record movies and take decent quality still photos

looks pretty good

this is the one i have..im leaving for vegas tomorrow and wont be back till saturday

if you would use it, you can have it..its still in the box...not too many demands for my live shows..

eric and poppy always are asking, then we all just sit on cam in our underwear and eat ice cream.

yup that is the webcam I've bought for a model I use to work with and it is amazing! look around on ebay and you can find it new for a lot less then $99 too..

we gave a bunch of logitech webcams away not too long ago...

you should be able to go to your local store and get one for $50 or less... make sure you get one with a built in microphone for sound...

no reason to buy a camcorder for live shows..

I was considering selling my camera on eBay so this may be a good fit. It's a Canon Optura Pi - few years old but still rocks. Been sitting doing nothing.
