In most cases with such young children getting brain damage the remainder parts of the braing "take over" with enough therapy and these people continue on to live normal productive lives. Lets hope that he is one of them.

that's very true. his left side is almost useless at the moment and that is why he will need a lot of therapy. his speech and memory appears to be fine though
