I get fucking pop-ups I can't get rid off using adaware or search and destroy...

That's right Battus...No problem with the pop-up from websites.
It's a kind of spyware.When I let my computer connected for two hours and come back I 've about 50 windows open
Generally I get rid of that shit using adaware or search and destroy but this one is resistant and I can't see where it comes from...

I got some shitty spyware installed on my laptop as well.
Ads link on text on different websites, with words like:
free porn, domains, auctions,etc
I've tried lots of spyware programs: Adaware. etc
Nothing seems to get it away.
Gonna do a total reinstall on it soon anyway.
(it actually fucks up my posting here if I preview it first, it ads the links in my posting, so I would post it with their links.....)

Find you running process's Close them one at a time if anything looks suspicious.
Look in your win.ini and your registry for load commands.
Search your computer by "date modified" you should find a few things that are new and not asked for.
try cwshredder
Problem solved.
look for html files, css files and exes in your windows directory and system and system32 also.Comment

There's a program called Pop-Up Stopper (clever title, eh?) that's awesome. I downloaded the free edition and its fucking great. No more pop-ups over here!
