What if I have made over $2000-3000 a month in the past and I am just too fucking lazy and make a shit load of money at my real job? Should I leave then? I mean an extra grand every month, on top of what I pull in at my real job makes for some really nice toys at the old flow-miesters household.

I think I will hang around despite the fact I don't make over $3000 a month. But hey, a grand a month for about 5-7 hours of work a week is not bad if you ask me.

2 or so years ago when i was doing this full time , I was grossing like 5-6k per month, from avs, tgps, galleries and such take out content and hosting and it wasnt bad for a newb.

Now making 10k per month full time should be your goal to set and is easily attainable now.

Whoever makes more than 50k per year is doing good. In the next few months/years the average salary will go up all the way since it will be harder and harder to stay in this business.

Most people will still agree that you better earn 20k a years from home, running your own business than get paid 30k a year to work 8am - 4pm for someone else.

the truth is this biz has a very high return on investment IF and ONLY IF you have a reasonable amount of capital to start with (mostly in marketing). So if you are making some money, make sure to always save some because it can really help.

What is your source for this? Everyone I know well is making double to ten times that. This is the first business I have seen where there are just tons of people making mid to high 6 figures a year.

The only odd thing is we don't have anyone making 30 million a year. this is good in that it means it is still new and no one controls it or bad in that our overall market is just too damn small.

i used to make 10-5k per month but i got lazy, and the economy sucks and its harder to get traffic and keep traffic and have sponsors consistantly convert well. tho i'd say the person who said porn is a risky business is wrong. its much much more stable than any job i've ever had. sucks working in a factory knowing they can lay you off any time they want. i always got laid off before i was there long enough to get into the union. there is no money working for someone else anymore. i might not be making a lot of money now but i sure as hell ain't giving up without a fight. if you got a nice education and know ppl who can get you a nice cushy stable job, go for it if you like working for someone else. i'll stay right here and keep on keepin on.

you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..
