I'm very concerned that he's going to get off, I've followed that case every day since last December...it's awful and everyone knows he's guilty as a motherfucker and cocky on top of that.

I did not say they should convict because he is cocky...I said the jury wouldn't like him.
As for O.J. - I watched the entire trial on TV. (yes, I was a bored housewife back then). I thought he was guilty as fuck. But, I would have had to find him not guilty because of the question of evidence being mishandled.
As for Scott Peterson, we don't know enough facts about the case. I do find it VERY odd that he told his girlfriend this would be his first Christmas without his dead wife.Comment

I never heard Scott Peterson was golfing. He gave the cops his receipt from the marina when he reported his wife missing. He placed HIMSELF at the scene, nobody else did.Comment

Take a factual look at things, OJ's blatant lies and inconsistencies, the fact he can't account for his blood and hair being all over the place, at the Bundy crime scene (even though he denied having bled there, which was a lie), his ADMITTING he bled at Rockingham on THE NIGHT OF THE MURDERS, his conflicting statements about how he cut his finger, which one could also term LYING, the fact there was a trail of HIS BLOOD from the murder scene all the way INTO HIS HOME........lets be reasonable........
He got off because a spineless judge let the trial runaway and get out of his control via the defense's antics, and he also got off due to a biased and jaded jury, jaded due to recent events and also probably personal bad experiences in dealing with the police.
He did not get off because the evidence was flimsy or the reasonable doubt theory. And once again, ask yourself, how did over 100 people manage to psychically figure out that they would conspire, DESPITE NOT ALL OF THEM MEETING, and frame a sack of shit named OJ Simpson? All it takes is reason and logic, & anyone well grounded in the scientific method would conclude this.

First of all Bansheelinks, I completely respect the opinions of others, but hate it when people feel the need to personally attack me.
I never bought into the conspiracy theory. Do I think it is possible that one or two rogue cops could have done some things wrong? Yes. The cops, and the criminalists seemed full of shit almost as often as O.J. and his lawyers. I think the fucker is a cold-blooded murderer, who got away with it. But I also know that it is the cops, criminalists, and prosecutors responsibility to do things right, and to not leave me with any question about his guilt. As a white, southern female, I seriously doubt that MY opinion is based on racism, as Twistyneck eluded to. So, if I were on that jury, I am not sure I could have convicted him. On the other hand, I sure wouldn't feel bad if he took a bullet to the head one day.

I must admit that speaking as a Brit who now lives in the US I find it unbelievable the way some of these high profile cases are played out on TV before the trial. How anyone in those cases can get a fair trial is beyond me. Peterson is a different case because all the evidence is circumstantial. I would think that most reasonable people believe he is guilty, but whether or not there is sufficient evidence to get a conviction is another matter.
