Sony Rocks! All my laptops and most of my desktops are VAIO's of course both my video cameras and still cameras are all Sony's too. It's a great way to go if you don't want to have any concerns about compatibility. This new laptop actually came with an infrared adapter that plugs into one of the USB 2.0 ports and accepts video beamed from the camera. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but the firewire interface is niccccccccccccce!Originally posted by avion
