What's the latest computer setup you bought?

I'm looking to get a new system. I already picked out flatpanel and nice keyboard/mouse to go along with it, just not sure what motherboard/cpu I should go with.

    Cheers,
    Matt

Intel 875 motherboard, Intel 3.0 ghz 800 mhz FSB Hyperthreading. 2 gigs of 3200 Crucial memory. Should run you less than $800.

$2,699.00 minus $200.00 mail-in rebates = $2,499.00 at BestBuy. If you buy it on their website they throw in a $100.00 gift card too. I didn't want to wait for it so I just bought it at the store. Very slick set-up

Sony Rocks! All my laptops and most of my desktops are VAIO's of course both my video cameras and still cameras are all Sony's too. It's a great way to go if you don't want to have any concerns about compatibility. This new laptop actually came with an infrared adapter that plugs into one of the USB 2.0 ports and accepts video beamed from the camera. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but the firewire interface is niccccccccccccce!
