    Coldfusion for TGP sites

    Newbies first post...

    Is anyone using it? I know it's costly if you run a dedicated server, but with virtuals...

    Another question - can TGP galleries be hosted on subdomains and still get listed? something like mature.goodpornforyou.com and blonds.goodpornforyou.com.

      Depends on the tgp. A lot of your subdomain galleries are cheaters, so I always give them a better look.

                          ColdFusion is good for Rapid Application development, we use it for lots of things. I don't think i would use it for TGP's especially when there are already so many decent scripts out there. If you are going to build something new and going to invest the time into a new TGP script I would suggest writing a ASP.NET TGP script in C# then sell off compiled versions of it. If we didn't have so many things going on now I would be develooping one myself.

                              Hiya twatacom,

                              I was wondering about Coldfusion - I've been programming in it since v2.0. I've always liked it, but was never too happy with the stability of it until v6.1/MX.

                              Now that it's written in Java it's rock solid - and extremely extensible.

                              It's still my favorite. Now, if it were just free like PHP/ASP/etc.. :-)

                              Have you checked out the XML function in MX? Awesome stuff.
