    Sony?s DCR-DVD200 DVD Handycam

Does anyone own one of these? This is not for professional use. I just want something for X mas and to record rugby games.

I've got the Sony TRV 33 Mini DV. It's a pretty sweet cam!

The DVD Handycam is like a "Stone Soup". You can make one but it's not very practical.

you can't rewind to a certain point and start recording. you have to erase the DVD and then start over again. it's nice if you want to shoot straight through and dont care to much about rewinding.
