I agree. Bush is gonna win anyway but were it a fair square thing he would use Rice to get half the female vote and a good third of the minority vote that would put him way over the top. He might lose tons of white voters but they would look at Rice as a ' good black person ' who knows her place or some such nonsense.
It sure as shit would shake up the world wouldn't it? It would sooooo put the Democrats in a shitstorm as the Republicans would be the first to nominate a real black person ( Yes, there were several presidents who had on the record black ancestors ), and since it was Republicans who won the Civil War it would make the Democrats more of the fence sitters they are.
