    Bush To Dump Cheney, Picks Condoleeza Rice As New VP

    That's the word in the streets of D.C.

    It's an attempt to counter the Democratic choice of Edwards by Kerry. Many feel that Edwards will bow out before the election and Kerry will be forced to choose Hillary at the last minute.

                                      What will it take to convince you people she's not running?? And why are you so in love with the idea that she is?

                                      I wish to god I could remember where I saw it, but back when the right wingers were all on the "Hillary's running for Pres" bandwagon, I read the funniest article by some guy talking about the Republicans' obsession with Hillary's run and how even though she had plainly stated over and over that she was NOT running, the right wing kept claiming that she was waiting too long to file for the primaries, which could *only* mean that she obviously had no clue about running a presidential campaign! He said he was worried that Republicans might boycott her imaginary inauguration and then sooner or later call for her make believe impeachment.

Bush is gonna win anyway but were it a fair square thing he would use Rice to get half the female vote and a good third of the minority vote that would put him way over the top. He might lose tons of white voters but they would look at Rice as a ' good black person ' who knows her place or some such nonsense.

                                                                  It sure as shit would shake up the world wouldn't it? It would sooooo put the Democrats in a shitstorm as the Republicans would be the first to nominate a real black person ( Yes, there were several presidents who had on the record black ancestors ), and since it was Republicans who won the Civil War it would make the Democrats more of the fence sitters they are.

                                                                      the reason I say this is:

                                                                      Cheney has already said he has no interest in being president so if Bush wins again they know that cheney will not run in 4 years. So they need a good person that will run. Giuliani has alread expressed interest in running for president. Most people outside of NY ( myself included) don't really know anything about him except that on 9/11 he stepped up and led when he was needed. He's a very popular figure in america and could help bush imensly.

                                                                          I don't know that she would bring in a ton of women votes. It's proven time and again that women don't vote for women. I'm not sure why that is but it is.
