                  OS X is secure due to market share. Apple owns such a small % of the PC market that it isn't worth it for hackers to put forth the effort to write viruses for it. Apple is still a stong company and makes its mark in other ways (e.g., ipod). I hope the market share numbers never change.

                              I have Mac OSX and it literally never crashes.

                              The worst that will happen is an application will freeze. You can force quit the application and everything is cool.
