Georgia doesnt have the offensive line it needs to handle LSU. Just like last time they will get destroyed in the 2nd half. I am a Michigan fan, but I also like both LSU and USC. Not a fan, but I am fond of both teams. It's tough on LSU because they will take away their own Quality Win points by beating the Bulldogs. On the other hand, if they lose to the bulldogs they will fall a long ways.
USC is in my unbias opinion the better between LSU and USC.

It is all relative. Is it harder to win because the are evenly matched ? Maybe they are all just "good teams" so the conference is more balanced. Top to bottom the SEC is a tougher conference than the Pac 10 is this year. Switch out LSU and SC to eachothers conference I am pretty sure both teams would have very similiar success. My point is SC has a very dynamic offense at the college level. Personnel wise, they are very talented. Not to mention the coaches. They are just a very good team right now. They would have KILLED either OSU or Miami last year in the title game. They are a very pro-style team and they are getting better every week. I am with you on the playoffs. It's the only way that we can really know for sure who the very best is. By the way... I would vote that the big 10 is the toughest conference. Bowl record from last year, non conference records from this year and SOS in BCS would support that.
Though, if you were talking about elite teams... I think the SEC has one or two more teams that can be considered better. It's just that if you look at the very best and very worst in each conference, the big 10 has more competitive schools.
ACC is fluffly outside of Florida State. Big 12 is more like the Huge one and 11 others... The SEC has the best top quarter. The big 10 has the most evenly good teams. I guess it depends. The pac 10... Outside of USC has hardly a contender this year. The big is really lack luster. The mac, wac, and mountain west play the way their conferences sound...If Biff Fucks My Mom...
