37 million adults* and 2.5 million children were living with HIV at the end of 2003.......

I love AIDS, and I love the nature that gave rise to this fantastic cleaning product. The world is over-populated, and AIDS takes care of the lowest forms of humans for us. I am aware that a "cure" will probably be invented relatively soon, but I pray that AIDS will spread and mutate enough to over-come it. In the mean time, let's continue to pump the AIDS people full of medicines so that they can help propagate AIDS for some more years before they die.

I don't think he was going off on a moral high ground, just showing that it's highly unlikely for someone to get AIDS in demark through casual sex. Through the use of free clinics and condoms, the people in Denmark and many other european countries engage in safer sex pratices and are more aware of there own stds, making it harder for them to transfer them.

Places like Africa don't stand a chance against AIDS w/o the help of outside medicines and protection, but here in America AIDS is spreading much wider and faster than it should be able to. We treat stds with such a stigma in the US that people are afriad to openly discuss and admit they have them or even get tested... for fear they have them. 1 in 2 sexually active adults will get an std in there lifetime... think about it

My old neighbors daughter died of aids by catching it as an infant through a blood trasfusion before they put all of the safeguards into affect and last time I checked infants aren't the lowest form of life-nor do they do anything to ask for it. Aids doesn't discriminate. What about the spouses that go cheat, and bring it home to the unknowing partner? What about rape victims that catch Aids?
What about the responsible couples that go get tested, but somehow missed the window and end up infecting each other. What about the medical workers that catch aids from patients each year?

sadly there will NEVER be a cure for aids NEVER,
the world operates on money,

there is no money in a cure, all the money comes from treatments. the company the develops a true cure will also develop a process that slowly heals you but then makes you worse once again. thus keeping people alive on a signle strand of life.

sounds aweful but welcome to the world of business.

hey CIN,

I don't think angeleyes ever said anything about wars or what she felt about them. As for species irradication, this has been going on for millions and millions of years. The planet and life on it will continue to exist well after we have left it (in some form).

Also, Angeleyes is not a slut, I have met her and she is very nice. I think she has a very valid opinion and you should respect that. Many innocent people have been killed by AIDS and it can happen to anyone.

Thank you Chris Rock. You forget two things though.

1) governments would pay top dollar for a cure for AIDS
2) in the scientific community, something drives them more than money... fame. If you were the scientist who created the cure for AIDS you would be the biggest thing since sliced bread, cover of every scientific magazine, people, us weekly news, hell probably time and national geographic.

I do not advocate the extermination of the entire human species. I value biological diversity. Some pruning of the moronic people who are causing this over-population is certainly in order though.

okie thanks for the info MR I live in a perfect world. who is going to afford an AIDS cure for the millions of people in Africa? The African government!? lol common, what do you think this world really is?

before the scientists release the cure to public it will be boughten by a major drug corporation and then we will see what happens.

think of the million things that we dont know that have been done, bet you there are tons of revolutions in science and medicine out there that are never realeased to the public. with all todays innovations you can really tell me you dont think any of the major diseases have been cured?
