Thinking of moving to Florida. Where are the best parts to live?

The west coast is more conservative then the east coast. You should look at Fort Lauderdale or somewhere in Palm Beach County. There's a large gay population in those areas as well. And of course there's always key West

Great for vactaions, but would you want to live there? To hard not to drink tooooo much. Plus they have a serious HIV thing going there for the locals I hear???

When I get to go, I usually stay a week and it's never long enough. I'm not gay and always have a great time there.

Something like 80% of the businesses there are gay owned I read once. So it is gay friendly. The damn tourists might drive ya nuts?

For someone working in Porn and who is gay. I would suggest Levy County, check out Ingles. Nice place to live, and the cross burnings will not keep you up too much at night.

Seriously, choose a metro area. I live in the deep back woods of Florida, and I love it, when I am there. But obviously not for all people.

You can get real estate cheap around the Tampa area... Head south a little or north a little (20 mins either way). Brandon, Zephyrhills, Tarpon, etc.

I live in key west, and HATE it. There are too many people here considering 30,000 residents in a 5 sq. mile living space

The gay population is fairly large too.
And like you said....it isn't cheap here either!
Move to Jacksonville.....i use to live there and it's nice.

yeah, i dont plan on having sex anymore so im not worried about hiv. But I like being in an area where theres things going on and a free thinking vibe, and not a bunch of fat old racist grandmas around.

Yeah I fucking Hate alligators and snakes. Great for shoes though.
