Links for 1 month are fairly useless since Google implemented their link and follow policy. You need links for consecutive months to start seeing any benefit and even then as soon as google crawls the page again and does not find the link, all PR that was gained will be lost. I would suggest selling links for 3 to 6 month blocks and raise the price accordingly.Comment

I take no offense from anyone posting their opinions and expierences. In fact I welcome it, all this PR and SE stuff is totally new to me. However, after reading many posts and visiting many sites, there are lots of good advice out there, but every "expert" is wrong on at least one thing he says.
IE
All my sites are on the same block, this does not penalize a sites PR.
Rivux your post I have found to be totally incorrect. Not just once or even twice, but 20 times or more I have made a new TGP, linked to it from all my other tgps, and within the next google update that new site is a PR4.
And, I am convinced that google crawls htaccess files. I do not link to my 404 page anywhere except in every htaccess file I have. I have a lot of them. How else could this page be a PR8? OR it is picking up the PR8 from chokinchicken main page? chokinchicken main page does not link to it, so how could google even find it?
Now, what I can't figure out, is how come sites like the hun do not have higher PR? They have hundreds of thousands of galleries linking back to them.ICQ me lets make a deal 116894466

When people build galleries, they'll mirror it 30+ times to accomodate different recip links. Google penalizes domains with mirrored pages so all of those recip links are from domains banned by Google.Originally posted by Choker

But what constitutes a mirrored page like this? The same page EXCEPT 4 different links (recips) on it? So a gallery has IE 15 links the same and 4 different. So there must be a set ratio for a page to be considered mirrored.Originally posted by KCat

There's one in this thread, I got about 12 of them from icqs since posting this thread. Seems there are several adult webmasters already doing this. Obviously I am not going to post their links here. From reading up on the searchkings matter, it apears this was more of a matter of misrepresenting. Making a claim that you can improve someones PR is a iffy thing. But someone selling spots on their site claiming all the linkbacks will help a site get better SE results? Well this is true, isn't it? If one were to go by what appears to be googles stand on this, they don't even like you saying that and will penalize you for it. This is a very grey area.Originally posted by WiredGuy

Of course someone will, but in this case there is nothing to report. The only mention of PR from me was when I stated that many guys with high PR sites want me to broker spots from them. Which I will not do. I am simply selling text links on my sites. If my sites have high PRs, then how can I stop this from making this attractive to potential buyers? I can't. I do not spam google or any search engine. I do not build my sites to get better SE ratings. Google is fair to me, they give me high ratings because my sites are very relevant. They are some of the most visited sites on the web. I did not design a single site with the intenion of manipulating PR or rankings in any way. Google has enough to worry about with all the SEO guys. These are the guys that are directly making money from manipulating the SE,s. Not me. Whether I think they have the right to do this or not is irrelevant.
