If your going to Thailand Places to visit in Bangkok -
PatPong, NanaPlaza and Soi Cowboy for the red light areas.
As a newbi in patpong it's best to stick to bard that are owned by the kings group, look out for the "KG" logo on the bars

Kings Castle
Pussy Galour
are some of the bars, upstairs bars have the shows.
Nana palza and Soi cowboy are pretty safe so just bar hopp there.
Sukhumvit Road soi 11 has Q-bar & The Bed
Soi 23 Has Faith club and just round the corner from that mistique.
Soi 33 is full of bars too, a lot of the ex-pats hang on soi 33 after work.
At the top of Soi 33 you have the londoner Brew pub and Bulls head and Robin hood on soi 33/1.
Opposite the Londoner is an irish pub called the dubiner.
Bangkok is pretty safe and i've never seen any trouble in the 10 years I've lived there.
Make sure when you get in a taxi he puts the meter on...
Pattaya is probably heaving with people as usual, but worth a trip down there.
The islands are worth seeing also, such as koh samui and phuket
There is lots to do in Thailand so your not gonna get board for sure.
