    Why is John Holmes so highly regarded?

    I don't get what is the big deal about John Holmes. The guy was a wife beater drug addict that commited crimes, did prison time and worked in the porn industry while he fully knew he had AIDS!

    Please someone enlighten as to why so many people like him and would like to be like him?
