    Wasnt he Muslim?

    Kinda ironic that they beheaded one of their own?

    "Own" meaning muslim in general , not implying that all muslims are terrorists.

          they beheaded 3 turks as well (or killed otherwise, not sure) and turks are muslim

              His family immagrated to the US in the 80's I think from Lebanon ( or maybe Syria). When he first dissapeared they thought he deserted and was headed back. No pun intended

                              I don't think they even give a shit at this point as long as they get publicity out of the beheading! Fear is what they live for but it's losing it's popularity because we are not going to stop if they beheaded hundreds!!! casualties of war are expected....

                                      The rumor I have heard is the guy's family is from Lebanon and he's a translator but still in the U.S.M.C. (contractor?!?) The sargent in the platoon got misted by a 81mm shell and it fucked this dude up, started writing home that he wants out, etc.

                                      He made a deal with the local Iraqis on the base to get him out of Iraq and back into Lebanon, but they sold him out, and now he's sitting in the boat he is.

                                      Mind you this is the rumor I keep hearing, your mileage may vary...
