The board is fucked up...at least for me...and has been since the dialer ads.

I get the following all day every day...on virturally every thread that I read...or post to. I have emailed but I have not received a response...and more importantly nothing has been done to fix the problem. It is irritating to say the least.

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Link to server lost, unable to reconnect in /usr/home/sites/gofuckyourself.com/admin/db_mysql.php on line 38

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

Because the technical staff was notified several days ago and have not responded or fixed the problem...so maybe the technical staff needs a well placed boot. As for Lensman and his vacation...he did not...and does not...inform me of his schedule.

you can't delete the first post in a thread. That would erase the entire thread and normal users aren't allowed to remove threads.

Yes. It was when the board was fucked with during the 2 million contest that my posts began to appear out of order but it has been since the board was fucked with during the dialer ads that I get the current error...all day...every day...on virtually every thread I read or post to.

The only person I've ever experienced a problem with on gfy is theking. No, not personally..... smart ass

I mean, consistantly, I will reply to him and my post will appear above his. Someone else will reply to him, and their post will appear above his.

I've seen theking reply to a thread, and that thread sits at the very top of the board for a good 10-15 mins while people reply to other threads and they get listed second.

It's like any time he posts, the date gets set into the future by a few minutes or so, so anyone else's posts seem as though they come before his.

Which OS do you run king?

You could try using Netcaptor. Download it at http://www.zdnet.com It uses MSIE, but groups all of your browsers in one window, gives them all tabs, has built in pop up/URL blocker.... I use it on all of my machines. Not sure if this will help, very strange problem you have
