Black Friday shoppers are CRAZY.

I got a part-time gig working at Best Buy.... my friend who works at another Best Buy store was telling me they give NICEEE discounts to employees (some items over 50%!), and since Ive been getting a bit sick of working at home all day sitting on my (now) fat ass, I decided to apply. Its been pretty cool, and I get to see fresh faces all day.

yea well, I had to work at 5:30am today. There was people lined up outside the store since 4am. These fuckers are crazy, mad dedicated shoppers trying to get the best deals. So crazy in fact that this one mofo ran up in our warehouse and grabbed up a computer that was reserved for ticketholders (people waiting in line), and then proceeded to BRAWL with other customers and a few store managers as he tried to make his way up to the registers. I was about to pounce on the mofo but the fight got broken up when I was just about ready to jump. hahahahha lamer got arrested.

My mother saw on the local news that people were camping outside last night in 40 degree weather from about 1:30 AM to get into the Best Buy store at 6 AM. We were going to go to Best Buy today to look around but we saw DOZENS of cars swarming around the lot looking for non-existent parking spaces and we decided against it. LOL

money is money. I'd work at mcdonalds to put food on the table, anyone who wouldn't is probably still able to have mom and dad pay for everything.

I like outdoor manual labor when it's warm, it's about the only thing that forces me to leave the office.

I used to do telemarketting and worked at best buy in my high school days. NEVER, EVER will I go back. Even if it is "just to get away from my desk". It's not like it matters, I sleep till 2pm anyways. By the time I get up, finish what work I have to do for the day, most of my friends are outta work and have something to do then.

It's a blast to go out in it! We go for abit every year to get things we normally would but get 'em alot cheaper! lol I grab ahold of the hubbys belt and away we go. He shoves right on thru to where we need to be. :D Got a 17" monitir this morning for $30. New!

So now that you are working there, do they really give you up to 50% off on a lot of items? What's to stop you from buying stuff like that with the purpose of reselling it to people? I wish I had a friend that worked at Best Buy.

I was thinking of getting a job that pays on commission like that. Especially in the plasma tv department, 10 sales x $10,000 x 3% = $3,000 ;)

Im planning to do my crazy shopping a bit later on in the christmas season though, maybe even boxing day.

these stores sorta bring it on themself. Best Buy had an early bird special, something like a 20 dollar dvd player after rebate.
