not as much as people would have you believe, but yes, a good linking campaign with established sites is a must.

i have 15 sites i trade with that are PR4, and i think 2 of mine are PR5 ... havent checked in while.

i would only consider non-direct trades. Meaning you link to maybe 7 of my sites, and i link to your site from my OTHER 7 sites.

too many direct trades is actually harmful

so if anyone has a decent amount of sites and would like to work something out, gimme a shout.

If PR means something I should get to work

. Every site I have tried for so far has gotten a PR4 or 5 (usually 5) on the first or second update. Doesn't seem too hard to me - Google traffic still isn't high though.

How much bling would a hard text link to a free site be worth per week on a PR5,6,7,8 site? Not including the traffic from it? I know what the traffic it would generate is worth, but what is the link itself worth per week?
