I'm currently working with IBILL, but want to try Verotel. Any suggestions about Verotel ? Have you met problems working with them ?

verotel pays out like clockwork every week. no problems.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text. -
they answer my emails, though it takes a few days.Originally posted by doober
except they never answer emails....BUT they have live support and they answer the phone.
Works for now
of course he's asking about in comparison to ibill so i can't imagine it's too much worse than ibill customer service.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.

I had stopped new signups with Ibill, because my rep was a disaster ( Sylvia Perez).
When I had to go with then after the Visa shit, I had a new rep ( no, I keep it a secret...) and everything is great since...
Verotel seems to be OK. Only worry : the visa registration fee " evasion"....I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

Only VISA US requires a registration fee.
If you are a client of VEROTEL, CCBillEU, 2000Charge, or any other european billing processor, you simply don't have to pay the VISA fee. You are not allowed to pay this fee. They don't want the $750

is it also the other way round?
i mean, i don't know if visa us rules apply to a european ipsp like verotel...
the question is: does visa international say that a european ipsp may only process for european clients?
anybody knows this for sure? i could only speculate...Comment

This is what Visa is aiming to accomplish: processing clients in their own regions.Originally posted by swingerman

So to be processed in the US by Ibill, CCbill and so on, you need:
- a US corp/presence
- 750.00 to give them.
To be processed by a ISPS in EU, you should be :
- A EU corp
Now if the EU corp start processing clients out of theitr region ( US and others), then this is what causes the problem...
Anyway, it is still a bucket of shit...

They cease processing.Originally posted by Jon Levi
go with PSW they are the shit
when I heard about Jettis and PSW ... I become hesitating to procee with Verotel. As far as I know they use Netherland processing. They might use some offshore or european merchants ... which can easily seace processing as PSW and all those within past 6 monthsComment

I use Verotel on one of my pay sites and as a 2nd processor on the other 13 and they are great to deal with. When CCbill declines a customer I popup a verotel signup amd most times they get approved and I've never had a charge back with them

my advice to you is to have as many billing options as possible.
With the way things are in the current market you have to cover you ass totally.
Its a fair split between Nochex users over Verotel & CCBill I dont see many iBill users in my space.
Also again I have to say Verotal CCBill & iBill are not your only options there are a lot of processors out there. Many of who offer competitive rates.Comment

correct me if i'm wroing, but verotel has loose standards as to the type of content that's allowed on their sites... considering the tightening of regulations, isn't dealing with verotel riskier than dealing with processors that are more strict on what type of sites they accept?
just my 2c

Verotel's representative took her time to call me on the phone to solve my problem with log in.
After 3 years with iBill, No f...ing way you can expect a call from them to help you out with something. I closed my account with them, suddenly some weird stuff started to happen to my reserve money. Some chargebacks, refunds this and that. I doubt that I will ever see the full reserve amount
psychiatrist will discuss your case over email for a feeComment

they follow the standards of their Country's laws, (Netherlands) and until those laws change why should they do different?Originally posted by carbondream

If you are from Europe be aware that iBill are currently withholding all reserves for the last few months - its the third time they have done this in as many months - and there's no end in sight.
They also have the worst customer support in the industry.
Verotel all the way !
But CCBill first

i'm not arguing for/against, i'm just saying tha VISA is an international company (read: american). they can easily apply preassure in order to prevent those sites being available in the statesOriginally posted by SENSEX

Visa International and MasterCard Europe do not have the same cross-border regulation as Visa/MC US. Therefore we can process for EU AND US merchants/websites.Originally posted by swingerman

You're saying that everyone in the world could have avoided the VISA fees by going with Verotel?
Sounds like Globill's plan to me.Adult Content UK - Great British ContentComment

i think the difference is that Globill "moved" offshore to avoid the Visa fee's whereas Verotel is not U.S. based and never has been. Verotel is and always has been a EU corporation, and if my understanding is correct deal primarily with Asian and EU banks.Originally posted by FATPad

Verotel has the 900 billing option. That works really great for people who don't have credit cards.
See my sig and sign up for Verotel. I have used them for three years.Comment

That's exactly what I'm saying but was also trying to be humble. However, for some webmasters it may not have exactly been the smart thing to do considering they would have lost ALLtheir rebills. Contrary to the common practice of other billing companies, Verotel won't import rebills because that usually turns out to be a chargeback nightmare. We do have our standards and we'd rather stay in business than just make a quick buck.Originally posted by FATPad
