    Porn's Impact On Computers & The Web

    So Visa and the cc's figure pornmeister's are the bane of their existence, but where would computing and the web be without porn?

    Porn memberships and toys and vids might be a small percentage of their transactions but what about the computers, software, ISP memberships, etc. that stem from porn?

      Everyone knows this but the powers that be can never admit and agree with porn's appeal in front of their wives, female voters and female shareholders. This really is the problem. If it were an all male run world porn would be the most popular business next to sports and Ron Levi would have more articles than Bill Gates.

          Not to mention all the technologies that porn (they did not necessarily invent these but) helped to establish or stress test. Affiliate programs, streaming media, popups, etc.

              A better study would be porn's effect on McDonald's fry cooks. I heard there was a shortage.

                  Only problem is that "FantasyMan" does come out a little bit "different" than "Bill Gates" does.... I personally prefer "FantasyMan"...

                      What I suspect is that VISA and other powers are just trying to gain the control over the industry as a whole. They wouldn' be able to do it without the expertise of pornmeisters who are probably out there right now stabbing the rest of you in the back just so's they'll be left standing when the next hammer falls.

                      You watch. They're smilin' and postin', partyin' and hostin' but you wait til the next election.
