I own an Australian company, and we are based in Brisbane - you may have heard of me somewheres in your travels maybe (Evil Dan)
I am launching something rather large on Dec 1st, 2003 (US Time), so have a look at http://www.Ezygo.com/ on your Tuesday (2nd Dec 2003)
Just so you know, I have always wanted to organise an Aussie get together, and have discussed it with a few other Aussies but never got around to it.
I also know for a fact many webmasters overseas would love to come down under, and I have advised a few of them to try and come out in Feb 2004 to the Gold Coast (post school holidays).
From what I understand, January is a big blow out time wise because of InterNext and AVN. I know it will be for me, as I only get back down under myself on the 20th January 2004.

yeah i should be right for the 24th.
we have had a gathering once before of webmasters on the gold coast.. kitty organised it about 2 years or so ago.. we all met up at Melba's, had a roped off section, finger food etc.. was a good night.
In brisbane at the moment, but moving to the gold coast soon as i just started a new job down there..
