I went to NY with my kids for the first and last time last month. Get a hotel in the middle of Manhatten. Everything is close by. The Hilton sucked BTW. Food is everywhere in NY, tons of delis everywhere. I found it better to just walk and find a place to eat, rather than planning on going to a certain rest. After 2 days we were ready to go home.
