In Yonkers tits and smoke is illegal?

I recently moved back to my life long hometown of Yonkers, NY. There is this little dive type strip joint called "City Lights," that I always visit during the holidays, etc., to see old friends, catch up on bullshit and see some mediocre topless Brazilians while sipping a few Bud drafts.
I walked in late last night and found the place more than half empty.
I sat down, said hello to the barmaid Sally; she has been around for years, still the chubby 40 something year old with way too many tattoos and piercings, but with a great and friendly attitude and I ordered a beer.
After a few sips, I took out my pack of Marlboros and lite one up as I sat back with a dollar bill ready to pass it to a dancer, when all of a sudden 3 people, Sally and two bouncers came over like I had just killed someone and told me, THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED!
I knew that NY had a no smoking law in restaurants, but in this little corner of nowhere? On any given night I would have dropped a few C notes buying my friends drinks and tipping, but last night I finished my only beer, gave Sally a ten spot, wished her luck and exited.
    Welcome to 1984.

on this issue, you can thank the hard left-wing for infringing on the rights of business owners to make their own minds up about a legal product (and COMPLETELY misrepresenting the research about second-hand smoke to justify it!)

I don't smoke anymore, and it still pisses me off.

Yea, I have read where California is trying to ban smoking from Condos and apartments or any multi unit dwellings.

Hey, Everyone should be accommodated... both smokers and non-smokers alike... If you are a non-smoker and are worried about second hand smoke, also worry about the polution that our cars, factories and so on spew out into the atmosphere.

Hell, there are days in LA when you can hardly see down the block because of the smog... health alerts telling the elderly and small children to stay indoors... ok.. so what is the difference... they cannot ban cars... right? So everyone is effected... both drivers and non-drivers... so where are the non-drivers rights not to have to inhale the exaust of the driver?

It's all political BULLSHIT!!!!... the fucking cause of the moment, what will get the most votes. So, if you think the Government is doing this because they care about your health... think again. It's all about the green they can put in their poiscket... nothing more.

Pretty sad when a US citizen has to pay over 50% in taxes for cigarettes... I found Marlboro for 15.00 a carton at the Phoenix airport in the duty free shop.... at my locat grocery store they are almost 40.00 per carton....

          I hate these fucking politicians!!!!

WELL SAID!! This is just a little joint. The owners should have the right to put up a sign saying. "This is a smokeing bar" if you don't like smoke go fucking somewhere else! NOT the other way around!...FUCK
