I watched a show once on the discovery channel.. Seem the guys in charge of making the money would love it to be like the multi colored style used in the EU, because it's harder to reproduce... However the American Paper note has been it's standard 2 colors for so long..They will only change it a little at a time or it might affect it's stability in the market place.
The American dollar is the most recognizable and most used piece of paper money in the world. Making a major change would affect it a great deal.
