fuck army recruiters
my senior year of hs, me and a friend thought it would be fun to have this army recruiter come pick us up and go take this ASFAB test, and ever since then, i've been getting letters and phone calls from the army trying to recruit me for years.
one just called my house and this was how the convo went:
recruiter: "hey whats up man?"
me: "not much, just doing nothing"
R: "i was just seeing whats up with you, havent heard from you in a while..."
me: "uhh, yea.."
R: "whens the last time you came and talked to one of the recruiters?"
me: "ugh, like two years ago."
R: "damn that long ago, who'd you talk to?"
me: "sgt. venzeula, he came and picked up me and a friend to go take that ASFAB test"
R: "oh yea, how'd you do?"
me: "i dont remember, it was two years ago..."
R: "did he tell you you did good?"
me: "i dont remeber"
R: "well, hows your friend doing?"
me: "well i guess"
R: "thats good to hear, ever think about coming in and talking to one of us again?"
me: "no, but i will call you if im interested"
R: "ok you have caller id?"
me: "no"
R: "well you want the number?"
me: "i have sgt. venzeula's card around here somewhere with the number on it" (lie)
R: "ok, well talk to ya later"
me: "bye"
they fucking pester me all the time, trying to get me to join the army and act like my friend and shit, when i know all they are trying to do is make some money off me by recruiting me!
