Has the adult industry gone to shit?

to many wannabe noobs joining the biz more and more seeing everyone post on forums and they join in whilst neglecting the one thing they should be doing.... making money.

post whores are everywhere being paid squat per post and making more than they would if they built a free site

constant back stabbing, pissing matches and the likes

to many webmaster parties not enough business happening at them

to many message boards having the same old shit posted on them day in day out by the same old names

everyone seems to think this is 'fun' rather than serious business.

the industry has surely gone to shit.

It's all you can expect from a business that ANYONE (and i mean anyone) can be apart of.

Like you said though, if you weed through the jokers and get to the real business minded people, it can be a very worthwhile and profitable experience.

we hope to make a big splash in this business....therei s a convention coming up in Las Vegas in January...i think we are going to go.

Why does everyone bitch and moan and cry about newbies, but yet they still push the fuck out of webmaster programs...

Theres almost as many webmaster ads on the net as there is content/ads.

Go to google and type in adult porn, or things along the line. and before you find what your really looking for, you see at least 10 affiliates... wanting to recruit.

Not only that... But I feel that it's not the newbies, who don't really know what the fuck they are doing, is who you need to worry about. It's those that have the experience, knowledge and know how, etc. To put together schemes and fake aliases and pages that crash browsers, and full out terrorism like what Smokey has been posting this weekend.

10 to 1 says a newbie will put a banner on a page with 20 pics before he even knows wtf a dialer or pop-up is...

Just my 2 cents worth.
